Brittany now has over 30 Golf courses. The course at Landerneau, 30 minutes drive, is certainly one of the most challenging courses in Brittany and ranked 13th in all France . Built on high ground, the course is thoughtfully laid out with a variety of holes, some of which are very long. The fairways tend to be tight and the rough can be punishing, but beginners can warm up on the 9 hole course before tackling the full 18. The course at Brest -Plouarzel Near Brest and close to the coast on the western tip of Finistère, this interesting course runs along a wooded valley, amongst granite stones. Its natural beauty has been enhanced by water hazards which have been built and must be crossed on holes 3 and 8.
